This is a nice, relatively small building that represents the City Hall. There are always singers and musicians at the outside main hall of the building playing, with the echoes from the building provide a beautiful background.

The Town Hall stands on the banks of the river, an imposing structure in its own right. It used to be a marketplace earlier but today, the building is a seat of government. The gold designs all around are indeed a nice touch!

The Rathaus is directly on the Limmatquai on the Limmat and was built in 1694-1698 in the Renaissance style. This quarter of town was named for the town hall. The length of the visit is about 15 minutes.
