After the falls and a meal we opted to go and relax. Whilst I don't think this is the best Terme in the area (Northern Italy), it's pleasant and the natural location is lovely. Easy way to spend a couple of hours relaxing. Nice modern facility and clean.

We hit an unfortunate streak of rainy weather on our past vacation to Lake Maggiore. It rained for 5 days straight, barely stopping at all. So a decision to drive out to Premia Terme and get warm came naturally. The place is very new, well maintained and organized. You can bring your own towels, slippers and swimming attire, but if you weren't planning for it, you can buy it on the spot at a rather reasonable price. Waters are high in mineral content and its temperature ranges from 34 to 40 degrees (you can verify at the Terme's website, but that's how I remembered it). The only downside we found is not all pools are accessible for children. There's a small cafe' on the premises but selection is limited to sandwiches and some pastry. For a proper meal there's a restaurant at the Terme's entrance but, as most eating places in Italy, it's closed until 7pm so you need to plan for that. The best deal we found is a 4 hour package. 2 hours seem too little and the full day is too much.

If you buy family ticket you have to take it for 4 hours- it looked too long to stay. But time just flied away- the water is comfortably warm, there are sunbeds for relaxing, a lot of water massages at inside and outside pools, area for small kids and beautiful surroung of the mountains! Amazing stay! On weekends there can be crowded though. Tips for the visit- you have to have a swimcap for entering the pool. If tyou don’t you will be offerend to buy it at the reception for 2 € and leave 5€ pp deposit for the key.

Weather was awful so we 're use to go some where with thermal water. Searching found Premia. First visit was only go and back staying 4 hours others. But return was quite tiring. So we decided to come back staying there 1 night. It was really nice! Kids were soo happy to go there twice. It has everything for kids from 6 months up to adults. There 6 pools in there. 1 pool full of toys in the pool and you do not need to bring anything else there. Other pool was 32 degrees and it was less busy from all. Then there is a pool for only adults or children from 14 y.o. with almost 20 water massage area where you can have 5 minute only for yourself. Then there are 2 pools outside and 1 bigger inside. There is also a spa. But being with small kids did not have a chance to visit the spa. Bar was nice and food is fresh with playing area for kids inside and outside. Parking area was quite big and you surely will find a space just in front. Prices quite fare.

We visited Premia during a rather hot day but that did not effect our stay. The outside poolarea was lovely and even though it was rather crowded it didn't feel as if it was. All the pools were very clean and the whole place was very well organized. The indoor poolarea had lot's of massage spots and a special place were you could alternate with hot and cold water, especially good for your legs! Well worth both the money and the four hour stay and we will soon return!
