We had a great visit at this museum. My only regret is that we didn't have more time. Our tour guide was excellent and made our visit so educational. Hopefully we will have the chance to come again soon.

Went to visit museum in honor of the memory of a friend's father who fought in Arnhem. Amazing stuff. Perfect for history buffs. Tragic times in such a beautiful town. Worth a day trip from Amsterdam or Rotterdam. Fabulous highways... enjoyable drive Note to tourists....leave the kids at home😂😂

I highly recommend anyone visiting the area to go around this museum. There is a strong relationship between the local people and the British Parachute Regt, the reasons behind this relationship is told in the various displays. Located in the former German and British Headquarters it tells the story of Operation Market Garden concentration on the battle around Oosterbeek/Arnhem. There... More

This was one of the best museums I have visited--made so by the staff who were brilliant throughout. I enjoyed seeing the military exhibits, but was more touched by the civilian story as well. It is easy to forget the civilian population and their experiences at this dreadful time.

I am very interested in World War 2 historical sites and museums. I was not disappointed when I visited this place. Immediately after I entered, I can see hundreds of displays and often with labels describing the items. Soon after I started my tour of the place, the lovely lady that collected the entrance fees came along and we had... More

This museum is quite compact, with exhibits on several floors. There are literally hundreds of recovered weapons, uniforms, ordinance and vehicles on display. There are a number of static displays, with explanations of what is being shown in several languages. We enjoyed the couple of hours that we spent there.

A place I always visit on my Arnhem trip. The museum has changed over the past few years adding more displays to specific areas and removing some. Personally I prefer the museum in the layout it had a few years back with no glass cabinets etc but that's just me. Tour guides are available and the entry cost isn't too... More

I was born in Arnhem in 54. my parents spoke of their time in the war (WWII) and the museum bought some emotional responses that I was not expecting. Very well done and well laid out.

Good little museum, very informative in parts. Would be better for English speakers if they had more English information on exhibits, as we speak little Dutch. I think 5 euros instead of 8 euros is a better price.

A very interesting museum with lots of memorabilia to see. The staff who donate their time to the museum are there if you have any questions. The price to enter is minimal, 8 euros for grown ups and 6 euros for over 65 or children. Its a small museum with items from the second world war, guns, packages of items... More
