I really enjoyed this museum! It had a nice range of old and new art and it was all displayed perfectly!! The Rodin is simply breath taking and such a wide range of his work. The scale of this exposition is immense. I was suprised by the Maarten Baas exhibit as it also was a large scale exhibit and I... More

I didn't expect too much of the Rodin exhibition, but it was a rainy day and I couldn't think of any better options than this exhibition. The entrance fee of 18 euros is quite high in my opinion. The Rodin exhibition shows many sculptures, most from Rodin's workplace. His methods are explained, how Rodin would come with ideas, while others... More

I went with my 12 yr old son around the museum. I think we spent about an hour and a half in there. The Rodin exhibition was very good, but very dry and pretty boring dfor my son. The exhibition on the 2nd floor by Baas was really good and we really enjoyed exploring that. Really easy to get to... More

Very good Rodin exposition, unfortunately crowded due to rainy weather on a Saturday. Also Maarten Baas very much worth checking out, especially Real Time. Conveniently located opposite main railway station.

Art shows are so expensive in the Netherlands compared to the UK,vwhich may explain why so many people spend their time photographing the works rather than looking at them!!

I believe the building itself is an art, above and below water level, with windows viewing outside. There are many interactive expositions and many things to learn from. We really enjoyed our participation in a coloring class, appropriate for children and adults. The 3-D printing was also impressive.

It was a very good exhibition. With a good, free, explaination about Rodin and its passion for nude. We enjoyed it a lot.

I went to the Groninger Museum to visit the Rodin retrospective exhibition (on display until April/2017). It is one of the best-curated retrospective exhibitions of great sculptors I've ever seen: excellent selection of works, clever display, very informative support materials and guides, and a narrative process centered on materials and the creative process that is engaging and intuitive. I highly... More

This building is already becoming old fashioned. Built in the 90's, and not at all suitable for an art collection. Not to mention the narrow bridge between central station and the city centre, where people on bikes and pedestrians hope to reach the other side alive. The concept of the building is supposed to be art itself, but hey, do... More
