Vondel park is a must when in Amsterdam. You will take a full image of Amsterdam only observing people, nature and enjoy the food and coffee shops there. You will see people running, students studying, people drinking coffee and meeting friends, a lot of people...More

This park is lovely and a must see. There are several different walks that you can take around the park. Lovely lake in the middle. Very chilled and a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle from the city. I am sure it would be...More

Nice park. Lots of ponds. Walked round on a very cold winters day. There’s a handy public loo at the back of a cafe - clean and ok to go in even if you’ve not patronized the cafe as there’s a charge of 50cents.

Just one of the city parks which is nice to walk through. Ponds, trees, paths and a few places for a cup of coffee. When the sun is shining vondel is a nice place for a break and relax in the sun for the afternoon.

Even though it is winter, the park is beautiful for walking and enjoying the fresh air. Be mindful of the bikes, though as they tend to fly through the park!!!

Possibly one of the worst parks I’ve been to. Ever. Surrounded by concrete monstrosities on both sides. Priority is for cycles on the main path down the middle of the park. Pedestrians are treated to the wonder of a (thin) puddle filled, muddy dirt track...More

The park is so beautiful! Enjoyed watching the parakeet birds. An ideal place to cycle or go for a walk.

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping

I didn't visit Volden park in april but i think it will have some tulips dispersed sporadically. If you would like to really visit tulups you should absolutely choose Keukenhof.

You can walk to vondel park from Van Gogh museum its literally a five minute walk. You can check out the street with posh shops too. Museum district next to the park is a great area safe & clean.
