This is not just a display of art but a history of the development of Dutch marine art in step with Nederland's naval history, fishing and trading. Some models but not as many as Greenwich.

It's a great place, especially for kids; they have a lot of interactive games, you get to walk around the ship (the best part). Very close to Nemo Museum, the Central Station and also Brouwerij 't IJ (the brewery near the windmill).

Visited the muesum in the afternoon with teenage son. Museum is easy to reach and easy to navigate around. Very spacious area, friendly staff. Information easy to absorb. Rooms are set up nicely and some are very interactive.

This is a really impressive maritime museum. All the museum is Wheelchair accessible. There is also an elevator lifting wheelchair users in the East Indiamam Ship in the small deck outside the museum. Also the exhibition Voyage at Sea is really good.

Nice place to visit, but I only saw the front part. The area has not so much movement, but it's worth for a picture and it's very close to Nemo Museum.

It tells the story of maritime history include collection of many shipping and sailing stuff. Outside the museum you can find beautiful replica of "the Amsterdam", an 18th-century ship.
