If you are looking for souvenirs in the form of t-shirts and affordable art, this is the place. Art form reflects the work of an artist (non-local/Dutch though) of typical Amsterdam culture - canal, bridges, and bicycles. T-shirts are made from good quality cotton. Paintings are quite nice and affordable, but to be honest, nothing special. Unfortunately, there is not... More

Mark Raven is selling t-shirts, mugs etc that reflect his art. These are not the typical mass produced tourist items. They are high quality items that are priced appropriately and reflect the artistic experience of visiting Amsterdam.

We read about Mark Raven while doing a Rick Steves walking audio tour of Amsterdam. While in Dam Square I encourage you to stop into his shop. For several reasons we did - the Art work is really sweet. The tshirts for sale are beautiful I bought two. And as a Artist myself I really like the fact that his... More

Had read about this online and purposely wanted to see if the t-shirts were unique; was not disappointed. Bought several as gifts and the kids love them! Got a free mug, too, which I use daily.

Unique art gifts, very friendly helpful and knowledgeable shop keeper. T shirts from here wash up perfectly, fabric is good quality and very comfortable. Reasonably priced beautifully presented art pieces. Well worth a visit.

This place has been here around for decades. Not my cup of tea. It is something my mother or grandma would go to to get t-shirts as gifts.

Mark operates from two locations in central Amsterdam. One near the Royal Palace and the other on Leidsestraat. You can even combine a visit to Mark with a trip to the quirky Otherist store nearby. You are unlikely to purchase original art from Mark however prints, shirts, mugs and other gifts are realistically priced and so much more attractive than... More

This local artist sketches, does watercolors and prints in limited and unlimited numbers. He is most enterprising putting his popular artwork on mugs, t-shirts and other formats that tourists will purchase for souvenirs and as gifts. In addition, he rotates t-shirts in a bargain bin.
