Don't bother unless you're into cheap and tacky clothes, and visiting the same souvenir shops over and over selling magnets and crappy tshirts. Just awful.

This is a cool little market to visit if looking for something to do in Amsterdam. It could be a completely free afternoon if you just want to browse. Seeing the textile booths, food vendors, and multitude of other shops is entertainment in itself. There...More

One of the best street markets. Took us about an hour from one end to another. You will find every thing here fresh food, souvenirs etc. I managed to get everything at reasonable prices.

We visited the market and there was no vendor there. It was very disappointing as we went out of our way to find it only to find nothing there.

We were able to cover one side of the market and it took us about an hour on Saturday morning. There is some food to be consumed - waffles, bar food, small treats. There are some fruit/vegetables, nuts and fresh fish stores. Majority of the...More

Local market where vendors sell various farmers market type of produce, fruits, household items, and souvenirs. Come here for some local street food, but don't plan to be amazed. I wouldn't go out of my way to see this.

We went after visiting the Rijksmuseum which is not far away. loads of food stalls, bric a brac and tourist stuff as well as plenty of cafes and bars around, good for the Amsterdam atmosphere.

Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag
through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp

many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic
thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in
search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly
half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners
and a good number of them are students. Here you'll

Don't remember seeing any at the Albert Cuyp market. There is quite a good selection at the flower market (bloemenmarkt) at singel street. Don't be tempted to buy at the first place you see. It doesn't take long to go... More
