Good way to see all the many attractions in Amsterdam

Nice way to see Amsterdam if you only have a few days. Points out all the main sights, and good photo opportunities. Great value at 10euro!

We booked through Viator, which had provided good overviews in Berlin and Munich previously. Canal cruise was on the Grey Line, total 1 hour and provided a good city overview which we like to do on the first day getting acquainted with a new place. This offer included a "Skip the Line" all-day voucher to the Van Gogh museum which... More

The evening canal cruise was a wonderful way to see the city and the canals all lit up. A totally different perspective during the evening vs. an afternoon cruise (which we did as well). The staff was very nice and the wine and cheese selection was very good.

Just go back from canal tour with the kin- boat company (tour like a local) which was very good. There were just six of us on the boat which could take more the captain asked us if there was anywhere particular we wanted to go we all agreed to leave it to him. For about ninety minutes he was both... More

This is a great introduction to the city, and a nice activity for your jet-lagged first day. The dock is conveniently located next to the train station and tram stops, and you can buy your ticket on board. This interesting tour takes you through the port and canals, a relaxing way to enjoy the gorgeous architecture.

The buses and boat rides are really not the way to go in Amsterdam. The time you spend waiting and the speed of the transport really takes away from what you can see especially if you are on a budget of time or money. The maps they offer with the tours are awful. You will see people all over the... More

Although we booked only 2 hours before the cruise, we had a window seat all to ourselves and received a 5E discount. The tables sit 6 each. I believe that the seats are assigned as you check into the Lovers station. The tour guide was lots of fun as was our server. In the hour and one half tour, there... More

My grown daughter and I took the canal tour from Central station. Get discount coupon from your hotel or tourist guide at airport or train station. Most cruise place will honor or match competitor coupon. Every first time visitor should take the canal tour. Most last from 45 minutes to an hour and have very amiable tour guide. They do... More
