Great concerts you can see here, but for a nice coffee, some snacks and an amazing view over the water, this is also a great spot! Sometimes very large cruise ships pass by and in the summer the terrace is lovely!

The entourage promisses you a great night out! We see a lot of opera's here. The acoustic is very good.

A short walk away from the Central Station, here you can find musical events and arts/exhibitions. Also cafe/restaurant available. Great to combine it with a walk along the pier.

On the website you can buy tickets for a special tour around Muziekgebouw 't Ij. This encompasses a lunch and a 2 hour tour of the building. The lunch was perfect and started off great. However the tour was simply not good. Even though we had a tour operator which passionately told us about the place she simply did not... More

Beautifully architectural design, good concert hall for classic, modern and jazz-lovers, including a good restaurant and a restaurant-bar with a spectacular view on the Amsterdam harbour

This concert hall is an acoustical gem. It is versatile as a space, with three different ceiling sections that you can adjust in several different ways. The floor can be even to the stage or terraced. It's incredible as you can be assured you'll be enjoying whatever event at its optimum acoustic. Restaurant is so-so.

My husband and I were staying in the Movenpick Hotel and thought we would while away a couple of hours on the deck outside the Muziekgebouw's restaurant on our last day, between checking out and waiting for our train to the airport. The outside area is superb, with normal tables as well as large "sofas" (made of a sort of... More

Got 1/2 tickets to a concert at the new concerthall. Its situated on the waterfront. Contemporary concert hall. Venue features contemporary, jazz and modern classical. Very enjoyable to see the sunset across the harbor.
