Beautiful architecture, all painted. Was amazed with the serenity of the church. There's Catholic English mass at 5.30pm on Saturday but I couldn't make it.. definitely worth dropping by for a short prayer.

A beautiful church a few step away from the end of the Flower Market. Well worth a visit. Very Roman Catholic with a beautiful altar and hanging Crucifix. The building is alongside the Canal.

This is our regular church. We love it here. The building is huge, and very tall but it does not intimidate with size. It is neo-gothic in style. The music at the Saturday evening English mass is excellent. The organist, Wim, is a great musician who has played here for the last twenty years and the Cantor, Vincent, is a... More

This is a lovely church run by Jesuit Priests and the Sunday evening 17:15 mass (in Dutch) is lovely and you have a lot of classical music it is almost like a free concert. There is an English Mass on Saturday evening at 17:15 if you prefer

This isn't on most tourists list of churches as it's further out of the centre. But I'm glad I went, the interior is grand and the high dome at the end isn't visible from outside so a pleasant surprise when you get to go in there.

It is a beautiful Catholic Church, we attended the lovely high Mass in English on Saturday evening at 5.15pm. It was an amazing and heartfelt service, the priest was very engaging with a lovely singing voice. The young organist was mesmerising. All in all a very memorable service.

Whether you are Catholic or not, the cantor is fantastic. His compelling voice and impressive cello playing are transcendental. The sermons in English cover trending topics. Come for the mass in english, enjoy a classical concert during the mass, leave uplifted. My husband and I actually look forward to Mass every week. The visual display of the inside of the... More

Saint Francis Xavier church is very popular among locals and visitors. We attended the Saturday English mass. The pews were packed with a congregation worshipping Sunday mass. The choir/cellist was excellent singing with passion; he was very inspirational. The church was built over the period 1880-1883, as a secret place for worship. The stained glass windows are colourful and displays... More
