This museum is location in the Red Light District, it’s well worth a visit and it’s really interesting and educational on prostitution in Amsterdam. Tickets are cheaper from the tour ticket shops than on entrance.

Not recommended for everyone but still a different experience. Just walk through with an open mind and it makes you feel for the young women - few forced to get into it. Few have taken it in their stride now -- leaves you with things...More

It's not a place I'd say is a must do in Amsterdam but was decent. It's pretty expensive for the time you are in there. We picked up some interesting facts on prostitution and the fake window where you look through the eyes of the...More

Forget the weed and sex museums, this one is actually pretty interesting and worth the entry fee. The confessions wall is hysterical. Very interesting hearing the working girls’ stories and seeing things from their perspective.

We left the museum feeling quite uncomfortable- which I think is a good thing. It doesn't glamorise or glorify prostitution, and it makes you really re-think your visit to the red light district as a tourist attraction and how you look at the girls in...More

It's an intresting experience, but a little to pricy for what what you get. I think it was 10 euros per person. You get an audio tour and you cand visit all in half an hour, maybe an hour if you analize every corner and...More

If you have about an hour you need to waste, visit. It's mildly interesting as you walk through the house that use to be operational. No need to pre pay for tickets. Very simple to walk up and pay on the spot. Even with a...More

Gives an interesting insight into ‘behind the scenes’ life of a prostitute - very eye opening and interesting. Good value for money, I would definitely recommend a visit!

Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its
saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to
view some of the city’s most picturesque canals,
historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some
