Yes, you have to walk a bit to get to it, but as they explain at the museum that's because the windmills were originally set up at the edges of cities. Our guidebook didn't even mention this place, which seems strange, because it was the...More

This mill is quite nice from further away and up close. The tour is interesting and doesn't cost much so definitely worth taking if you're around.

Definitely worth a quick walk from Haarlem Market Square. The tour is pretty interesting and our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about showing us how the Windmill works. Our tour was about a half hour, well worth the 3.5 euros it cost.

How early would we need to arrive for a tour on a Friday afternoon? I'm just wondering how long we might have to stand in line.
