Its a very old castle built in 17th century & is being used to host events, concerts etc. Its located just outside Lisse, the town that has Keukenhof gardens & one must visit to admire & inspire by the great dutch architecture of golden era.

Keukenhof Castle was closed on the day we visited for a private party, so we couldn't go inside. The gardens were nice, but not nearly as spectacular as the Keukenhoff gardens across the road.

Lots of children having a wonderful time on the toy tractors, friendly farmyard animals and tasty pancakes. A great place to visit.

The castle itself is great to see. There are lovely gardens where you can have a picnic and there is also a restaurant where you go go have something to eat. Well worth the visit.
