We came during autum season. Famous for its well preserved collection of windmill, and Dutch houses. Inside the village, we visit cheese and clog making factory. We enjoy some free cheese tester.

There is free parking around the Zaanse Schans - but if you get on the official parking you have to pay (10€), unless you pay the entrance fee to the museums which discharges you of the parking fee. I would recommend you... More

I don't remember the price for the rental but if you buy a genuine entrance ticket, you get a discount on the rental!
