Rietveld Schroder is a good marketing case. It is advertised as one of the most important buildings in Utrecht. It may be worth a visit but I personnaly think there are other buildings in Utrecht, mostly in the center, that are more worthy. RS House...More

We so enjoyed our visit to the Rietveld Schroder House. Astonishing to see the foresight and innovation during the time period. As much as the house, we enjoyed our stroll from the Centrum to the house. It took about 30 minutes down a busy Utrecht...More

Utrecht architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld's almost 100 year old international masterpiece is a completely unique home even today and an absoluut must see for lovers of modern architecture.

The best example of famous Dutch De Stijl (The Style) artwork. Wandering around it is hard to believe this house was build in 1924.

I found out about the house by accident, but i'm glad I did. You need to book a guided tour, because it's the only way you can visit. Check online. I think the last tour is at 17:00 local time. I couldn't get a reservation,...More
