Didn't know what to expect before we visited. The outside of the building is quite deceiving. Looks pretty small, but it really isn't. The displays wind their way round this sprawling building with a truly impressive collection of rescued reptiles that either cannot be released or are staying there until they can be released. The Reticulated Python one of the worlds... Given that repties need a controlled climate, this is sensibly housed in existing buildings rather than a purpose-built site - and it greatly adds to its charm! Situated on the corner of a large square, the Zoo is housed in three adjoining town houses. The marked route takes you down to the basement and up to the attics through both... More
