On our way to the Cube Houses we discovered in the "Blaakse bos" a terrace of the Stayokay hotel. From this terrace you have a view of: The Markthal, The Cube Houses, the Pencil and the library. Four in one. There is hardly room for...More

This market was amazing! Lots to see, taste and drink. The artwork on the ceiling was vibrant and scrolled across the whole ceiling! Tons of restaurants, wine stores and sweets! Only drawback is that we were here in the worst heatwave and it was SUPER...More

Rotterdam must rank as one of the best cities in Europe for its post-war architectural imagination. This is a clean, calm yet vibrant port city, with none of the threatening edge you might find in some cities in the UK, for example. The Blaak Markt...More

the market outside on the street is very big with a lot of different stalls selling food, fruits, flowers, clothes, accessories and more ... Inside the big market building the whole wall is a big piece of arts - very nice to visit.

Love the location. The architecture mixed with the old style market vibe make this a very memorable place to visit. Recommend every tourist visiting Rotterdam checks out this place.

This is a very large market. It sells almost everything. Foods, clothes, fabrics, etc. I think this market is the most beautiful central market i’ve ever seen and been.

We were in town on Saturday when the market was in operation. It is many blocks long and two main isles, so four booths wide. There was lots of food for sale (kind of like a grocery store), as well as clothing, luggage, music. This...More
