The building is very special. You have a nice view on top. You can see the city and the harbor. You can go up for free. The collections are nice. I like the ethnographic part the most. The exhibition spaces are a bit dark.

Even if you don't visit the museum (although you should ;) ) it is worth visiting just for the view. And going to the roof to enjoy the view of the city is actually free! The collections are beautiful, and the temporary exhibits are always very interesting and fun to visit.

Apart of being a museum with several theme-collections, this building lets the visitor have a free view to the city and its connection with river and port. While one enters with question marks, the escalating views through the wave windows serve as a very satisfying experience.

Wonderfully diverse exhibits. Curiously, some floors had descriptions in English and others did not. We could not discern any theme tying the various floors together, but we thoroughly enjoyed the museum. We found we could have spent much more time there had we not had a train to catch. Building is amazing and the views are extraordinary. Highly recommend.

We just went to see the views from the top which was great. 9 floors of escalators and 1 flight of stairs. You can visit the museum too for €10. Nice part of the city to explore

The MAS is my favorite museum in the world, and I've been to lots of museums in my life. It just has so much going for it. The exhibits are good (and include "interactive" ones where you smell and touch items), but the architecture is what really makes it. The escalators and windows are placed so that on each floor,... We visited this museum on a rainy day so the lookout platform on the 10th floor was a bit disappointing as misty but on a clear day the view is 360 degrees. The museum is amazing, we spent 4 hours in there thoroughly entertained.

About a 10 minute walk outside the Grote Markt square and away from city center you will find this 10 story museum building with a unique architectural design. Youcan take the escalator up to the 8th or 9th floor and the stairs up to the 10th floor or the stairs all the way up if you are looking for a... More

I have only visited the museum for the views...But it is a great building. Access to the terrace is free. You get though escalators so you will see the 360 degree view of town as you go up. View from roof Is worth the visit. I will come back to check the exhibitions soon. Pity that you cannot see the... More
