This is simply one of the most beautiful stations I have ever been in the world. High Gothic stone entrance and ceiling. Amazing ambiance and the station itself is clean and very functional. Trains always ran on time too!

Worth popping in if you appreciate architecture. We liked it. Near the zoo if that is where you are headed.

In the Chocolate Box episode, Hercule Poirot and Chief Inspector Japp arrive at a railway station that is supposed to be in Brussels. I instantly admired the station I saw in the film. Later, I realised that this station is actually in Antwerp. It has a majestic architecture and a lovely design. My 'little grey cells' were delighted with the... More

Magnificient building dated end 18th century and very well preserved. Interior hal floor is a mix of fine, beautiful Italian marble tiles. Entrance staircase from main hal to rail tracks is mind blowing. In short: this is a unique rail road station building, most likely the most beautiful of the world and well worth to pay a visit and spend... More

The central station of Antwerp is among the most beautiful railway stations worldwide. Combining steel, glass and stone it airs grandeur and class. The Central lobby is one of a kind. Located next to the Zoo on one side, and the diamond center on the other side, it gives you fast access to the historical riverside centre by ways of... More

With the building giving a wow factor from the outside the functionality inside is top draw. Excellent staff, very helpful and although the station is large it's very easy to navigate around.

The central station is the best of the best. The perfect combination of an old building with new architecture. Also if you don't travel is a visit at Antwerp central a nice activity.

Visiting again Antwerp it was a delight to see the marvel of fusion of old and new architecture which combines esthetics and efficiency. Having seen many train stations I agree this is indeed probably the most beautiful train station in the world.

Even though Antwerp boasts quite a few interesting landmarks, this is, with the cathedral the most interesting one.
