Also not to be missed on a visit to Antwerp. Would also recommend going early to avoid crowds. Surprisingly for museums these days the room guides were informative and very helpful. The house has some major works of art on display which are just stunning....More

If you are passionate about Ruben certainly go visit this activity. There are some good paintings, however the audio guide is boring and long winded and because of all the renovations taking place the experience wasn't great

This is one of the highlights of a visit to Antwerp. The house is well laid out and there are guides in various languages. A lot of original features are on display.

The Rubenshuis is beautiful located alongside the Meir, the prestigious shopping avenue in the center of my beloved city of Antwerp. Recently renovated. Must see experience! Few paintings thow... if you want to see more paintings, go to the Museum van Schone Kunsten!!

The best place to have a permanent exhibition of Rubens paintings is of course his own house where he lived with his wife and children. The interior decoration, furnitures etc...is kept original 16the century and reflects the way Rubens and his family used to live...More

You basically just get a small paper guide in your hands and need to walk through the house. Per se that is a bit boring, but the art on show and the stories are good. There are works from other painters in the house. Also...More

I visited Rubens House this month and I was impressed. If you’re in Antwerp is a must to visit Rubenshuis. You’ll not regret for sure.

€8 entrance fee. I think there are only 12 pieces of Ruben inside although works by other artists too. You are given a pamphlet/guide and follow the numbers. I was a little disappointed on the whole.

It was very interesting to see the house that Rubens and his family lived in. Most of the paintings featured are not by Rubens however were part of his art collection. It now even boasts a Tintoretto that used to belong to the private collection...More

Hello! As far as I remember, the whole house was accessible (in april of 2016). A bit of advise here: it is expensive and a very crowd attraction. If you want to see the actual paintings, better go to some art museum. If... More
