This is the largest square near the cathedral and a very popular place to watch the world go by from dozens of cafe's and restaurants. It has markets regularly, stalls with nuts, sweets and icecreams, there is the Hilton for executive accommodation and the cathedral...More

Thirsty and/or hungry? Go to the Groenplaats and enjoy. The Grand bazar is also worth while. When we were there, a lot of stands were at the market place with even more food and beverages.

Plenty to eat and drink nearby. Well worth a look if in the area. We really liked Antwerp and this square summed it up for us.

This is just a square where you can see the cathedral and all the nice buildings around. But still it's better to walk around the city and not just stop here for a long.

Lots of eating places and bars all around. Good market on a Sunday. Tram connection here to all of Antwerp.

Great place to start from if you want to explore the city. Fantastic underground parking (Groenplaats Indigo). Lots of restaurants/cafes/bars to choose from. If you are looking to do some shopping, you don't have to go far to find them.
