A lengthier visit to the free exhibition Experience Brussels on the first floor of the Tourist Information Centre BIP is a good option on a rainy day, but even on sunny days BIP seems a good place to start. Enjoyed going around these exhibits on a Monday when the other museums where closed. It is free and has a nice shop on the ground floor

Some of the reviews on this page are reviewing the metro rather than this brilliant museum! I, 21, visited with my 17 year old sister and we enjoyed it! We came for the Christmas market but ended up here, and thought we'd spend some time inside as it was rather chilly! The exhibitions are very interactive with multiple translations provided.... Having been in Brussels several short times before, I never realised the many surprises round every corner. The centre of the City is unquestionably the Grande Place the huge square always teaming with action and year round tourist hub. From there in all directions are streets offering above all gourmets delights for which Brussels is deservedly famous and especially seafood... More

I walked into BIP near the royal palace to get information on the city and chanced upon this 'expo' on level 2. I was the only person at the exhibition and the attendant was super friendly. I had fun sending e-postcards of myself, taking the quiz on EU etc. There was even an area for kids so this must be... More

Excellent museum that have diverse options for all family members. I recommend it for every traveller in Brussels, especially if you are tight on time and like to see as much on little time.
