Such a beautiful collection of this painter's work. During our visit there was special exhibition, making it even better. So many ideas come up when you look at the surrealistic pictures, such a thrilling experience.

Although I enjoy Magritte’s work, and this collection has some great pieces, the organisation of the museum is letting them down. I arrived at about 2pm and after the slow process of clearing security (needs must), I waited nearly 30 minutes just to buy a...More

The great Belgian artist Rene Magritte is the focus of this small museum that takes you through his life, with the use of biographical information and his artwork. The museum does a great job of telling the story of one of the greats of the...More

We were looking forward to an exhibition with lots of Magritte paintings. Unfortunately most of those for which he is well known are in other museums around the world, so we were disappointed. It is a fairly small museum, and - as others have pointed...More

The Magritte Museum is a must for anyone interested in the artist. It is multi-level in chronological order and includes excellent background on his life as well as an important sampling of his work at each stage of his career. Because of the museum's approach,...More

The paintings match with the theme of each floor of the gallery. However, the information of the paintings is not well exhibited. The audio guide is terrible that a lot of code is not valid. Good for surrealist!
