This was a bit disappolinting as most of the famous paintings you'd want to see are not here - they are either in the NYC Metropolitan or other museums. Some interesting background info on Magritte, but smaller than expected.

Such a nice mueseum full of Magritte's art. The exhibition itself is well organized, with Magritte's most popular paintings there. The souvenir shop is a must see as well.

Surrealism has various facets and this one was not one of the best. The famous paints were not there. Magritte was a little sad here not exciting in my opnion.

There are museums of all types and collections within these buildings, a lot more space than you can see, as they are underground. You might drop down 8 stories as I remember. Elevators and stairs make them accessible. The Musse Magritte offers a nice gift shop, several floors, many older works of the younger artist just beginning to paint, a... More

If you are into a light kind of surrealism it's definitely a place worth visit. Pictures mix landscapes with some unreal pieces of geometry, other have their hidden sense in real world, even though it's expressed through unreal drawing..

This museum is one of the main museums in Brussels. This place is all about the famous Belgian painter "René Magritte". Obviously, this man is a legend in the surrealism style. Therefore, a visit in this awesome museum will put you in his incredible world. The museum is really huge, there are several floors with a ton of paintings, drawings,... More

The museum promises works that are not on display. You better spend your money in another museum because this one is not worth your money

Some of the pieces were rather interesting and the word mixed with art were spectacular. As we moved through the exhibit, the work became more and more abstract but it was not something we were very interested in. However, the exhibit had a wide range of art from photographs, sculptures, to pop art posters.

Very wide collection of the painter, although without the notable 'Le fils de l'homme' which is apparently a private collection and not displayed anywhere. However other works of the surrealist painter, along with some impressionist works are sure to thrill your senses. Every floor is well organized and introduces the artist in a timeline.

Quite hard to find and quite small once found, probably for keen fans only. It seems that most of the most famous works are not here.
