I went there with my partner and a couple who are very good friends, just before Christmas and had a really interesting visit to the Magritte museum. do not believe the maps! I really like this museum a lot and tend to visit it each time I go to Brussels. It has the perfect collection of Magritte's work. The museum shop is also very good.

If you are an art lover, brussels is the right place. We went afternoon, therefore all museums had free acces. We visited Magritte Museum as I just love Rene Magritte. Even my husband, who is not a big fan of surrealism, enjoyed it. And we also went to the Royal Museum of Fine arts particularly to see Bruegel but walking... More

This was a bit disappolinting as most of the famous paintings you'd want to see are not here - they are either in the NYC Metropolitan or other museums. Some interesting background info on Magritte, but smaller than expected.
