Fascinating collection of Magritte works and museum about the story of his life. Lots of good pieces here but not his most famous works. Nevertheless well worth a visit. Especially when combined with the rest of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts.

Interesting museum, perfect for a rainy day in Brussels. You can see Magritte's work and shop in the store.

Tris collection is set in a nice new extension and complex of buildings holding the four main museums in Brussels. It is worth visiting ir you are interested in art although the collections are not impressive in my humble opinion. Regarding the Magritte museum I found it quite interesting and well curated. It is a quite extensive collection comprising his... More

We visited Brussels recently and amongst the sights worth visiting is the Magritte museum located within the Museum des beaux arts complex in place royale. The different stages of Magrittes life as an artist are intriguing and interesting. A worth visiting museum to round up a short visit to Brussels.

Quite small but well done museum taking you through the different periods of Magritte's life. Good value at 8 Euro for adult entrance and worth paying the extra to get access to the fine arts museum.

One really has to be into surrealism to fully appreciate the Magritte Museum. And the surrealism started in the entrance hall with the "Way In" sign turned to the wall! Then to access the museum itself, visitors have to go down one level in order to take the lift to +3 Level! A typically Belgian arrangement? Or were there other... More

Having gone to the Mauritius in The Hague the day before, I thought my 16 year old son and I might enjoy some surrealism for a change. Nothing in this museum resonated with us. We both felt his life story was mundane and that what we saw could have been read about on the internet. I wish we would have... More

Interesting museum. Most items had English Translations. Provides a lot of history about the artist. The ticket for this museum also covers the other museums in the building (modern art and old masters).
