A Park full of movement and history. You can do sports out there, sit down on the nice grass and enjoying a nice piece of wafels, or you can visit some nice museums out there around this nice and peaceful Park.

Location wise, the park is some distance from the main tourist districts. It more than makes up for the distance by being the home of 3 museums, the triumphant arch and close to the European parliament. Originally built to celebrate the 50th year of independence....More

From the centre we walked to this area in about one hour. It wasnt easy. What a beautiful place, completely zen. The car museum is just behind. It is completely worth it.

It's a large park with plenty of green space to lounge around on a hot summer day. It's big enough to escape away from the city noises if you find the right spot.

The park was built for the 50th anniversary of Belgian independence in 1880. The triumphal arch dominates the park, its two wings containing military and car museums. There is plenty of green space to stroll and have a picnic. Kudos to Belgium for keeping such...More
