Gorgeous building

A very beautiful building with breathtaking architecture, although I did not see the interior, so it was more of a photo-op, more than anything else.

The structure is a typical European architectural beauty. The square in front of the town hall is the place to be. Must do the tonga ride.

Very nice building dominationg the "grand place". A must see if you are in Brussels. Best view during Christmas holidays in the evenings when there are light and music plays.

Grand Place is very central in its own location, walking distance from the train station, and it is a must visit place. I personally would like to stay longer in the evening, as the lights make the building more outstanding. If you can visit in the evening, or have to choose...night view is the best.

Have you noticed ? The aisles on both sides of the spire are not the same width... and the windows are not the same style ! There are legends about the architect who threw himself from the spire when he realized...... ah, legends 😊.......

The square and the building are really ornate and impressive. There are tons of people around, even sitting on the cobblestoned ground. A nice place to watch the world go by.

Easy to tour museum with various works of art and easily digested history of Belgium. If you have time, it is worth a visit but not a must see

Much could be written about the Town Hall in Brussels. It is the finest such building I have seen. The 137 statues alone would make it impressive but the size and the lovely spire make it a bold statement of the importance of Brussels. It dates from the early 15th century. We had the good fortune to have a dinner... More
