Amazing architecture and attractive shops. All under cover and lots of places to have a coffee and a cake. We loved the chocolate shops and bought some great souvenirs in an ornament shop. Two minute walk from The Grand Place.

Some of the best Belgian chocolate shops can be found here together with some cafes and other pricey stores. I recommend Le Pain Quotidien for breakfast or a coffee break.

Buy your chocolates from Neuhaus, Marcolini or Corné here. Get a hat from the lovely hat store; or get matching gloves. Stop for a coffee and pie at Mocafé.

If you happen to be in Brussels, les Galeries Royales are definitely worth a visit. Similar in style to the more famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan or Umberto I in Naples (both in Italy), it will definitely attract those interested in architecture. On...More
