Amazing views of the guildhouses, very well maintained, making this one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. The view is amazing and the food very good.

This square is a good way to learn about how Brussels asserted itself as a powerhouse of Europe, now the seat of the EU. I would recommend going on a free walking tour- spot the red umbrellas in the square every few hours.

When you're in Brussels for the first time, make sure to see the guild houses in the Grand-Place (Grote Markt) both in daylight and at night.

oh Wow!! Now these buildings are breath taking! They look much more impressive during the evening too. If like me, you love taking pictures, be sure to visit during the day when the sun is shining and bounces off the gold on the buildings, then stop off again during the evening to see all the pretty lights.

A beautiful building worth a visit any time of the day! Why not have a dinner at the restaurant or a coffee at Starbucks, both located on the ground floor.

Mostly from the 17. century the guild houses on the Great Square were restored wonderfully. On the ground floor it usually has restaurants with a seat also in front of the restaurant which invite to drink and relax.

Part of the excellent Grand Place square. All buildings are equally spectacular and worth a visit. Visit by day and night and see the difference in ambience.

Visit here at any hour of the day. Come several times so you can see them in all their changing colours, day and night.

Part of the grande place in the city center. Big and impressive houses that were built from ruins in just 7 years.
