The building itself is not spectacular but interesting enough to warrant the entrance fee. Not many original objects, but pictures and models. The garden is much more interesting. Well kept and laid out. Worth a visit.

Over the last two decades, the abbey has been beautifully restored and given a new purpose. The expansive and educational herbal garden, by itself, is more than worth a visit. The surrounding area is worth exploring on bicycle as well.

Nicely restored building with a small museum and a garden area which is slowly maturing. Easy to reach with ample parking space.

The site is impressive. You can walk hours around. The buildings are nicely restored. The herb garden needs a visit. You can also have there a very nice Belgium beer.

Going exploring this beautiful place with the kids, was really great. There are different possibilities for them to discover the history. During summer time they can try to find the "Treasure". Really Nice!

The cistercian abbey is a careful restaurated site where throughout the centuries Cistercian nuns lived and worked. On the first floor of the stables a well documented and visual picture of the history is given. We had a very enthusiastic guide who took us from...More
