We could have easily seen the entire market by the first 20. After those, it started to look the same. There were some very good food vendors but all the merchandise was cheap quality.

There is a wide array of food and cheap clothes. Loved the fact that when I arrived at Liege train stn, it was so quiet. But at Marche, it typifies the hustle and bustle of a market. Coming from Singapore, I never had the experience...More

The Sunday market used to be very attractive, a flea and antique market with live musinc in the bars around. Nowadays it's just a maket, where you can buy lots of (cheaper) clothes, vegetables, fruit, fish, meat etc. The market is along the river Maas,...More

Love going there at least once or twice a year. It is a great street market with many colors and shops to explore. I usually finish my visit with a lunch in one of the restaurant along the river and eat meat balls :-))

It's a nice market, to wittnes the Liege-people, enjoying themselves with a drink and some food from the different stalls. A lot of foodstalls who sell delicious (roast chicken with patato's for only EU8).

The biggest market I have ever visited. Lots to see and buy from fruit and veg, meat, bread, street food, clothes. Not so sure about the live animals though. Don't know what the RSPCA would have to say about them!
