Every month the university hosts an activity in the square outside the library. The building itself os beautifully preserved with a modern interior one can comfortably spend a few hours in.

One of my biggest pet hates is when a library – this one at Belgium's largest university! – charges an entrance fee. Libraries are institutions that should be open to all sans fees. What a let-down!
