Loved the house beer, it was very refreshing. The beer comes with a sampling of Gouda cheese which is absolutely delicious. The bar only takes cash so be prepared. Absolutely worth it!

A De Gere triple and cheese in the atmosphere of this hide away bar, is better than finding a bottle or two of Westvleteren.

You have to look for it awhile, but when you spot the red framed door leading to a narrow alley, go have a Garre. Well worth the effort. Great beers, a little cheese snack & friendly service.

We visited here in June 2017. The place was packed, but we found a place to sit up stairs. Our waiter was friendly and gave us good recommendations. It was a fun place to people watch, experience Belgium culture, and taste Belgium beers. It is...More

They generally give you cheese with every drink you order, there were some nice looking cured meats as well, high grade bar snacks, but don't expect a three course meal.
