We visited the war memorial and the trenches on a bike trip through the area. The world war I memorial was very interesting and wish I had more time to visit all 22 floors! My kids got a kick out of walking through the maze of trenches.

We did this so I could pay my respects to both my uncles who were soldiers in the 1 St world war.the graves and the site are well maintained and loved and so respected by all the team that look after it. Very humbling as you do not realise just how many young men lost there lives

Battlefields Tour picked me up at the hotel and returned me. Great service. Nathan's knowledge of WW1 is amazing. His tour is the best. I did the day tour and the evening one. Both will always remain within my mind as unforgettable moments. If you want the best tour this is the one to select

We were picked up at our hotel by Nathan along with two other couples. Excellent tour as our guide was very knowledgeable. Nice to have this semi-private tour. He drove us throughout the country side showing us details of the battle, tour at Ipers, very nice afternoon lunch.

Joined the Battlefields Tour with Nathan, and enjoyed an informative day exploring the various sites & exhibitions of the WW1 battles in the Passchendaele, Ypres area, including the cemeteries and memorials for those who did not make it home. Nathan gave great information and ensured that it was personal to those nationalities on board.

What an exciting but, extremely poignant day out. My son and i had visited the WW2 D Day landing sites the previous week, which was for his benefit, i wanted to see the WW1 sites, foolishly i didn't pre-book this tour, which is highly advisable. Nathan was extremely accommodating, i booked the last post tour and due to cancellation we... More

A very enjoyable day, we did the full day tour and Last Post tour combined in the same day. Tour guide (Nathan) had lots of great knowledge, not only about he First World War however from a variety of different historical periods.

Nathan, an obvious polyglot, was a fountain of historical knowledge. Though I had been on a similar tour 5 years ago with my son, I learned an incredible amount of information today. He gave a European historical perspective from the 1850s on, giving the tourist a better understanding of the reasons that precipitated the war. His connections and relationships with... More

We booked this tour for its WWI history and were delighted with the knowledge of Nathan, our guide, the many sights we saw and the beautiful countryside.
