I read the other posts how it was a bit squashed in the boats, but I didn't feel this at all. This is great value (€8 adults, €4 kids) and the best way to take in the beautiful scenery of Brugge. Driver was knowledgeable. Just do it!

According to the ticket we went by Rederij 1. Just after lunch the line was really short, but when we returned the line was as long as in the other services. It was nice to se the city from another angle and we had great fun. Mostly because of the captain who sounded like the reverend in The Simpsons! He... More

On the Venice of the North, we spent a pleasant thirty minutes cruising the very charming canals of historic Bruge. Our small boat's "captain" was a font of information and provided interesting info.

There is couple of boat services in Bruges. Canals are lovely and romantic however but they dont match Amsterdam boat experience. If you're decided then don't go for those with Automated Audio Guide cuz they suck. However experiencing the city from a boat feels totally different and on a sunny but chilly day it was still money well spent.

Do not worry about the ques. Not as bad as it looks. Trips from 10-18 at 8 euro (cash !) for half an hour. Several starting points. tip : shorter ques at start pont 1 and in the morning. Nice and informative guiding.

Canal ride was a quick way to see slightly different views of Bruges. Unfortunately I was in the back and didn't see the swans in time to get a good photo but still enjoyed the ride.

I thought the tour was nice but nothing special.. it isn't super long, only about 30 mins. and you dont go very far. You do get some interesting history. It's not super expensive, so I would say if you have some extra time and like boat rides, go for it.

I wasn't able to do a canal tour on my previous trip to Bruges, so I was keen to do one on my second very brief visit and I'm glad I did. You see a totally unique view of Bruges and hear a little more about the history of the town and buildings. Unfortunately we didn't get a huge amount... More

I have been to Bruge about 5 times now and avoided the busy canal boat tour as it looked too touristy but as there was 5 adults and 2 kids on this trip and it was a lovely day we decided to do it. It was only 8 euros each and the kids as they were under 3 went free.... More

We had fantastic weather, which obviously helped, but the tour was great. The Captain was a real lad and his commentary both amazing and educational.
