At the Markt in Bruges, we can see lots of horse-drawn carriages. It’s fun to be in such a carriage. The person in charge explains everything we see and at times even tell us a joke. It’s quite romantic to travel through the winding streets...More

The carriages are comfortable, and up to four people can share one €50. Some horses are very upright and go at quite a pace, others are less smart but do the work just the same. At night the coachman has a blanket to offer on...More

Bruges is a beautiful welcoming city but is very busy with tourists and that is reflected in its prices, particularly for the horse drawn carriage tours. The tour costs 50 euros (July 2017). We knew that in advance but had decided to do it anyway....More

€50 for 30 minutes. Horses stink and are overworked and I never saw them once get water. My advice.....take a boat tour!!

Very disappointed I have sat for over a hour and the horses are coming and going I haven't seen any water for them. This is disgusting and cruel 😠

If you love horses and a bit of romance, this is worth the 50 euros. I think there is nothing like a carriage drive around a beautiful place with the sound of horses hooves on cobble stones. We saw parts of Bruges that we would...More

On a whim we decided to take the carriage ride around Bruges. 3 of us climbed on board and we trotted off. Even though we have walked around here for 10 days, our horse and driver had us gallop along streets that we had never...More
