More
The historic center of Bruges has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000 thanks to its status as one of the commercial and cultural capitals of Europe and its enduring Gothic architecture. The Belgian city center is cited as a great example of a medieval historic settlement, even while it has evolved over the years.

So much to see and do! Make sure you take a camera or have full battery on your phone! You can never really get lost as all the cobbles roads lead back round to the markt - so go and explore!

It's a very busy tourist town, reflective of how beautiful a place it is. You won't need a map to find the sights, they are everywhere. Some good shopping too. Plenty of shops for all tastes, requirements and budgets. Only thing to look out for...More

To experience Bruges walk along the canals or take a boat trip and discover its rich history through its waterways and bridges. It is a top tourist location, so expect it to be busy, however, definitely a unique experience.

A really bustling square with beautiful architecture and over-priced eateries. Explore at your leisure and snap away.

City is just the right size to walk around, although it gets a bit busy around lunch time. Make sure you take a river tour - just 8 euros per adult for 30 minutes, well worth the effort.

From the old market square tour guides with a distinctive umbrella saying "free tours" offer 2-3hour walking tours. Usually they are locals who can provide an insight into life currently and historically.

Frederick Bloondel.. We took a tour of most curated chocolates in Brussels. This was by far the best .. Even better than Pierre Marcolini.
