A lovely friendly bar off the beaten track and used mostly by locals, this bar has good beers, great coffee and enjoyable retro music.

Nice bar with great soundtrack in the background. Good prices and lovely staff! They sent us over a complementary drink and were helpful with the beer choices.

I am one of these fortunate people who visit Bruges five or six times a year. Though Tom closes his bar on Thursdays I always try to pay him a visit at least two or three times each trip. This is such a happy place, I never leave it with out a smile on my face. Tom will make you... More

First ever review here. This place is fantastic and very welcoming. Owners are the friendliest out of all the places we've visited so far. The service was outstanding and we've received help with the menu, as we could not understand some of the stuff on it. The atmosphere was great and energetic. The music was uplifting and cheerful. The customers... More

We popped in for the first time on a quiet Friday evening and were sad to leave when eventually they closed. Felt so warm and welcoming. Good selection of beers and reasonably priced. Interior comfortable and relaxing, with an interesting and enjoyable selection of really old tunes playing in the background. Funny and friendly owner who clearly knows his beers... More

Hi, Thank you for your visit and for the kind words ! I always like it when tourists do the effort to try a local bar a little bit off the beaten path ( instead of the many tourist spots ). I'm happy you liked it , see you on your next visit to Bruges. Thanks again, Tom More

Seek this one out as it's not in the centre of town. It's a small bar but so friendly. Plays good 60's and 70's music and the guy running it happily tells you who's the song is by if you can't remember as he jigs along behind the bar. It's not just tourists like us but locals who were v... More

If you want to find somewhere in Bruges where the locals drink you should give this a try. A bit off the beaten track but worth the effort. Tom (previously barman in the Bruges bear) runs a pub with great beer, great beer knowledge and an eclectic mix of Flemish and old popular music. Only open during the day but... More
