Silence ! That’s the gold key of the place. This old nuns neighborhood has kept the magic of the past. Full immersion, better than a virtual 3D tour. Pay a visit in the old nun’s house, who will give you a glimpse of their houses...More

The living quarters of the nuns and nurses that worked in the hospital, it's own little place in the middle of Bruges with the houses, its own Church and Brewery! All that they'd need! Very interesting!

It's nice to enjoy the view with the swans swimming really close to you. The old buildings and the river make up a pretty picture

We have often visited here on our frequent trips to Bruges. It is a wonderful tranquil place in the heart of a bustling city. The chapel itself is a very special building but the whole setting is an oasis and the shop is lovely, too.

Brugge is full of places and hallmarks reminding us that there was a time in which people lived slow (dangerously also!). The Beginage is the paramount place of this. I could hear the noise of XVI century beguines dashing around! 😊

The beguinage is an architectural complex created originally to house lay religious women who lived in the community like nuns but without taking vows or retiring from the world. Very interesting building in a peaceful setting.
