A heritage city protected by Royal Stone/ cement fort like wall in all sides. This square is lively lifeline with plenty of food joints, shops and even bank. Nice feelings. Lamb soup of this area in any restaurant is wonderful.

A great atmosphere, the local choir was singing when we walked through and it seemed very popular with a good turn out of people.

We visited several times and it was especially nice to sit out at night and listen to some excellent regional music played beautifully.

This is the place to sit or walk to enjoy the history of Evora. Medieval building, places to eat, and places to sit to just enjoy the history all around you.

This is a central square that tour guides will direct you to. It's good for getting your bearings but I don't recommend hanging around. There are better public squares and gardens (i.e. Diana garden) where you can relax and get a bite to eat.

All walking streets cross this plaza. Plenty of people. Some stores. Some food. We were here all three of our days in Evora. Tourist shopping on cross streets. Food on cross streets. Very old.
