This is the main centre of the town, well served by comfortable seating for snacks, meals and drinks. Ideal for 'people watchers'.

there are so many interesting aspects of this area that it is really important to get a good guide to explain the details of the different cultures involved in this complex.

Evora is an ancient city and in every street you can feel it. Try to book a house in the center, since they have a reasonable price and you can enjoy the city ambiance. The late afternoon is unforgettable, there is a quiet peace and the light is fascinating. You can visit wineries close to the city and taste wonderfull... More

Unfortunately, our guide had a cold and the van was... More

Evora have a lot of kind touristic attractions, most of them you can visit by walking in one single day. Only a small 'complaint' about restaurants be closed exactly on sunday when I was there.

Hi, i have travelled within Portugal for 11 days and decided to visit Evora. The city did not impress me. For being a UNESCO heritage city I expected a nice well taken care area, nonetheless the city surroundings lack maintanence. Some street walls are damaged, dirty, and written with graffiti. The historical monuments also did not impress me as well.... More

This appeal does not concern the historic center of Évora and only the megalithic set around the city. The surname of Evora The Evora Complex is Complex: (The 'Iberian Mesopotamia') and evaluates a set of pre-historic monuments such as the Cromeleque donates Almendres and the Dolmen of astronomy and its analysis. You can see the context if you click on... More
