Nice group of church, fountain, and central square with places to eat and drink and shop. It's the middle of town.

As main squares go this one in Evora is nothing special. There are a few restaurants scattered around the perimeter (and none looked particularly enticing) and a fountain and the church at the north end. Really, not a big deal.

Evora is a fun small town to visit. The historic center is worth walking. There are nice shops, restaurants, and wine tasting rooms throughout.

This is the main centre of the town, well served by comfortable seating for snacks, meals and drinks. Ideal for 'people watchers'.

Previous tourist info about Evora led us to believe it offered a lot more than one Roman ruin consisting of about 12 pillars. The drive through the countryside and farmland containing olive and cork trees was lengthy. We booked a private tour for the 2...More

Evora have a lot of kind touristic attractions, most of them you can visit by walking in one single day. Only a small 'complaint' about restaurants be closed exactly on sunday when I was there.
