The museum is very interesting with a beautiful collection of Roman jewels and coins. Further a interesting film in English. The museum is wheelchair friendly. The outside sites are not. Hard to imagine such a large city existed there at the time

while only a small percentage of this site have been excavated i believe visiting the roman ruins at ammaia will only get more appealing as time goes by. there is also a museum on site with a wealth of information and do take time out to view the short video.
