This is a very misleading picture. We had such high expectations for this boat trip along the coast and there are many caves and rock formations to see. The problem is the number of boat trips, as we approached the caves it was apparent that...More

The whole trip takes an hour and you visit several caves on the way to the star, Benagil cave. Good value @ 25euro each. Would have given it 5* if the smell of exhaust fumes in the Benagil cave hadn't made me feel a bit...More

To visit the main cave is rather confusing and is often hard to find the best way to do it. You can pay for boat trips or hire a kayak but all are rather pricy. Tarunga tours are the best I would say. All of...More

The boat with about 10 people navigates along the cliffs and also goes inside the many caves. This part of the Algarve coast is absolutely stunning and from a boat is probably the best way to experience it. The tour takes an hour. Expensive but...More

The breakers here are great fun and there are plenty of shells washed up on the beach for the younger ones to explore. I was not keen on my youngest child going to the water as there is quite a pull.

Carvoeiro is a wonderful and picturesque little town which is built in a vertical V-shape on the slopes of hills that dramatically come down on both sides and end at the small beach. Although we were here in the winter we can see that the...More
