The walks around the Ponta da Piedade are centered around the lighthouse. You can walk along the cliffs but be aware some are crumbling and are not passable.

The area around the Lighthouse is just gorgeous. Beautiful vies in every direction and lots of lovely cliffs to hike around. This is a great place for a long or short walk on all of the paths that have been etched into the cliffs. And...More

We ended up here on part of a tour, and it was a nice stop. Gorgeous views, but can be on the touristy side.

Beautiful place, must visit. We actually came here twice. The views are stunning. We also took a boat and explored the area from the water which was also an amazing experience. Not to me missed under any circumstances.

sadly you could not go into the lighthouse or walk around the courtyard as it was fenced off. However it was very neat and the location around it was spectacular.

This was a nice visit out to the lighthouse. You can't enter it, but you can walk all around and view the coastline. Walk all the way to your right for a great paved pathway too!

Part of our Tuk tuk tour of Lagos and well worth seeing - interesting history whilst keeping seafarers safe from the rocky coastline. Stunning viewss and well worth seeing.

it's a bit of a trek. I would suggest you get the small train that runs up to the light house from the promenade by the bus garage. The train runs every 10 mins . 1.50 euro each.
