In the nearby area there are quite a few beaches with character like Praia Dona Ana - but this is arguably the easiest to access. Still a fairly steep descent though via the wooden stair case. A beach cafe / restaurant on hand too.

Postcard beach. At its best earlier this month, nearly deserted and perfect sun. Small cafe on beach which will have opened by now

Our tour group stopped at this location as a photo stop, while touring Lagos an environs. Absolutely spectacular of rock for machines and arches carved out by the sea.

Dare you to find something most spectacular, unless it's 2 or 4 miles up the coast!!! Walking shoes for the cliffs a must, trust me.

March is I think the best month to Visit if you do not want to be grilled by scorching summer sun, not crowded during March April Season , you will not find a great cave here though.

This is a nice beach if you are staying in Lagos with parking making it relatively accessible. A number of stairs to the beach but not as many as some beaches. For a city beach it is nice but Camilo nearby is so much more gorgeous.

Praia Dona Ana and its neighbour Camilo could both be considered top beaches out of all the one hundred plus Algarve beaches, most of which I have visited. They are so picturesque they seem unreal and no doubt feature in many Algarve holiday brochures. Praia Dona Ana will long stay in the memory when perhaps other beaches are forgotten.

This is a really beautiful beach. A picture postcard beach. The sea in July was still quite cool. It gets very busy at weekends. There are a lot of steps down and what feels like more steps up when you leave. Well worth a visit.

It was an amazing beach with a lovely rock in the middle of the sea, now, is full of sand , the rock is no longer in the ocean, still beautiful but it was a paradise. but it's a relaxing beach to visit
