There's a park as you come down the hill from the lighthouse where you can sit and have a snack (if you bring it) to see the ruins of this place!

The ancient entrance to the fortified town still stands and look like it will stand forever. Reminder of historic times

Part of the old city walls with a couple of towers. Nice for a photo op along your waterfront stroll.

A well preserved portion of the city walls and the towers guard the entry archway. Nice historic sights and photo ops. But not much more than that, but it's a nice place to visit and take some pictures.

There isn't much to see here but it's worth visiting at least for a photo opportunity. However, I think some people use the area as a toilet judging by the smell.

These are some of the original walls around the old city of Lagos. The walls are incomplete in some areas. Streets run through what was once gates in the walls. The main gate by the marina is the best preserved and most photgenic.

This is really the only bit to visit. It is great to walk to and through, it gives you a hit of what it was, a grand Castle. The old town is in its boarders and the wall does follow round for a bit. What...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this castle and would certainly recommend it. The best part was the falconry show...extremely impressive and had everyone on the edge of their seats. The sculpture pieces were beautiful and in lovely surroundings. A great cafe in the grounds...More
