Peace and tranquility

So well kept and interesting. Place to take photos. Enjoyed visiting nearly every day! Could do with a few more benches.

Bring an umbrella! This place can be rainy even if it is bright and sunny in Ponta Delgada. Without one, we still enjoyed a quick walk along beautiful paths, and even through the hedge maze (which is a little broken down, alas), but we couldn't stay to take as long a walk as we had planned.

This park is amazing. It's huge. There is so much to walk around and see. Hike to the top for a beautiful view. This is the perfect place for a picnic of bbq. The nature is beautiful.

I've been many times to the Azores as a kid and never visited this park. Amazing green space with places to sit and picnic. No mountain driving needed; easy drive from Ponta Delgada. The bird sanctuary did not have many exotic birds but it was still worth a visit.

Nice place to visit, bring friends and family and to spend time on pic-nic style. Wide areas with lots of green spaces. It is a big far from local access. You will need car to take you there.

A good garden, with some trails inside (marked), where you can practice some sports (running/walk). There are some attractions for kids, that's why it's recommended in Summer, for families. Go there, explore and be into the nature.

The Botanical Gardens are beautiful kept with an abundance of plants, flowers shrubs & trees. The pathways were easily negotiable & clean & clear. There was a array of ducks, birds, swans & all in a beautiful area.

We were a bit disappointed with the place. We have seen nicer gardens. The lake is not even worth the name. I think you should only visit the place when you have lots and lots ofvtime on the island. It is poorly signposted too.

A nice quiet park, but not as imposing as other parks on the island. It is very clean and you can see big bushes of bamboo.
