Most of the Azores flora exotics and so is this park. The "pino" is Japanese cryptomeria, paths are lined with azaleas, hydrangeas, etc. The part we saw was not scenic or beautiful.

Beautiful stone walls on either side of a driveway that leads to the park. Lovely first impression. We went on a Tuesday and only saw three other families there so it was definitely tranquil. We were delighted with the bamboo forest which is something we...More

So well kept and interesting. Place to take photos. Enjoyed visiting nearly every day! Could do with a few more benches.

This park is amazing. It's huge. There is so much to walk around and see. Hike to the top for a beautiful view. This is the perfect place for a picnic of bbq. The nature is beautiful.

Nice place to visit, bring friends and family and to spend time on pic-nic style. Wide areas with lots of green spaces. It is a big far from local access. You will need car to take you there.

A good garden, with some trails inside (marked), where you can practice some sports (running/walk). There are some attractions for kids, that's why it's recommended in Summer, for families. Go there, explore and be into the nature.

If you go to the beach water temp is cold, but if you go to any thermal springs water is nice and warm.
