Angra is one of the oldest part of terceira. Offers beaches, restaurants, beautiful garden and Museums. Its nice even to just walk around. I think if someone is on the island , then there is a high probability that you pass from here.

Smaller than we expected. Give yourself time to walk the 300 stairs to the monument at the top of the Botanical gardens. We were there in December and it was beautiful, must be incredible in the spring and summer.

Such a lovely place to stroll around. Many shops and cafes. Wear good shoes for walking. The streets and walkways are quite bumpy!

Walk up and down the street, admire the side walks with white cobble stone designs and know that every stone you see was hand carved with incredible workmanship.
