Why is it called by the Portuguese Venice? The same happens in Aveiro, the ocean travels through the middle of the city. You should take a moliceiro - the Portuguese gondolas and.visit the beautiful city of Aveiro

Lots of channels that can now be visited with a Moliceiro boat tours. You can see the colored small houses from the neighborhood as well as the sea salt collection in the 'salinas' Nice tour for a sunny warm day!

Ria de Aveiro is one of the biggest attraction in Aveiro that is called portuguese Venice. There are some boats (Moliceiros) and it is good idea to take a short excursion.
