Good views from the top. Very interesting. Also saves a hike up the hill. Can get very busy. We went early in the morning and had the place to ourselves. The spiral staircase to get to the platform is pretty tight. Another must do.

Lengthy queues and pricey and you have to pay again to reach the top!! Go up to the St. Jorge castle for a better view and a more pleasant experience.

You don't need to wait in line and pay if you don't want to go to the very top. Just go up round the back through the Bella Lisa and over the bridge. Great 360 view of lisbon plus you can stay at the top...More

Blink three times and at street level you may miss the Santa Justa lift which is located on a side street off the main pedestrian area between Rossio and Praca de comercio. Well worth the small charge for the great views of the beautiful city...More

Having got used to the idea of lifts and funicular linking parts of the town this is one not to be missed. Very unusual. At the top of the lift pay the extra to climb to the viewing platform. Wonderful views over the city. Worth...More

This place is interesting to walk by since it's a lift in the middle of the street, that connects with a bridge. Get ready to pay to go up on a lift, and be patience because the line can be very long. We decided not...More

I'm not a typical tourist so this lift is kinda strange for me. Yes, it's beautiful but to pay 5,5 euro just to go up along crowd stairs - are you serious? :) there are a lot of places in Lisboa with beautiful panoramic views,...More

This is nothing overly exciting but a lift up to a viewing platform. However if you have some free time is worth a visit. The views are lovely. It's just over 5euros to go up and back down. There are two great bars at the...More

It's a beautiful tower you can admire from outside. I would not recommend to go up the tower since it has a big line and it expensive (5 eu). It is a short walk to where the tower brings you. Apparently one of the guides...More

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply
"Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake
construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755
earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its
name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in
Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the

I think we paid about €6 including access to the viewing platform above. It's quite expensive but probably worth doing. A cheaper option for equally good views (if not better) would be to ascend the triumphal Arch at Black... More

5 Euro or if you have the open top bus package or lisboa card you get in free. I certainly would not have paid 5 Euro just for a lift as it was not worth it ( I had bus pass) You can enter the tower from bario alto for free... More
